Team Heads to Knockhill for Rnd 2

Round 2 of the 2012 MSA Monster Energy British Rallycross Championship, will take the rough with the smooth as it storms on to the shale and tarmac circuit at Scotland’s premier race track. Both Tom and George will be competing in the event that will now be run as an afternoon to dusk event rather than the original night race, proposing a mixed array of challenges for both drivers.

Tom, competing in the MDA Mini-Cross class, has tasted success in the past at the Scottish track claiming the 2011 title and 2 podium finishes in the last 2 years. This year, only Tom and close rival Richard Wakeling will be making the trip up North for Rnd 2 of the championship but this shouldn’t dampen the on-track excitement!

George will be continuing in the teams BMW Mini in the British Rallycross BMW Mini class at the track. Currently he will be lining up against 4 other cars within the class, guaranteeing exciting action for the spectators. Last time George visited the track in 2010, he rolled his classic Mini 3 times onto its roof and thus recording his only DNF of the season. George’s return to the Scottish track will hopefully reap better results for the Coventry based driver.

Action kicks off at 1pm with racing set to finish by 8pm in the evening
